Revisions to the Policy
If we change this privacy policy we will post any updates here for your review. If we change material terms in this Policy, we will provide notice of the revised policy for 30 days on the home page at www.enginepros.com with a link back to this page.
This Policy is effective as of 03/01/2024.
CONDITIONS THAT WILL VOID WARRANTIES
1. If the item is improperly installed.
2. If the item is used for racing.
3. If the item is operated without proper lubrication or cooling regardless of the reason.
REPLACEMENTS/RETURNS
Warranty Replacements:
1. In the event of a Warranty Claim with any part which has qualified for a Free Replacement, it is required the part be made available for pick up within 7 Working Days. If the part is not made available for pick up within this time frame, the Free Warranty will be null and void.
2. Returned Parts (not installed)
3.In the event a customer wants to return a part BEFORE installing for any reason, it is required the part be made available for pick up within 3 Working Days. If the part is not made available for pick up within this time frame, no refund will be issued for the part.
LIMITATIONS:
This warranty applies only to the used Engine. This warranty shall not apply to or include the following:
Repair or replacement required as a result of any accident or misuse.
Repair or replacement of any engine item, including specifically, without limitation, to all components of the cooling, fuel, electrical, engine control system, and all ignition system components, belts, hoses and filters.
Any engine used for competition racing or related purposes.
Any engine which has been repaired or remodelled to which any device or accessory not conforming to original manufacturer specifications has been installed.
Warranty DOES NOT apply to any engine damaged as a result of overheating or lack of lubrication. The warranty will be void on any engine returned with the heat tabs missing or melted out. Heat tabs will melt at 260 degrees and above.
Any warranty repairs must be authorized by UET and will be handled on a case by case basis.
Upon submitting the Warranty Claim, you MUST submit documentation, as required during the Claim process, within 5 business days or your claim will be denied, no exceptions. Furthermore, continued operation of the vehicle after an issue has been identified will void the Warranty Claim.
If we elect to replace your engine with another engine, the replacement is considered to be a repair of the original unit. YOUR ORIGINAL DATE OF INSTALLATION and MILEAGE AT THAT TIME REMAIN IN EFFECT.
ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS & OWNER/USER OBLIGATIONS FOR THIS WARRANTY TO REMAIN IN EFFECT.
1.Engine oil and filter MUST be changed at the first 1,000 miles after installation and remaining oil and filter changes to follow manufacturers suggested schedule. (Official Service Centre Records must be kept - No personal maintenance records are accepted. (Hand written etc.)
Oil and temperature light/gauge and speedometer MUST be in proper working order
2.New thermostat MUST be installed
3.New timing belt must be installed (if applicable)
COVERED COMPONENTS:
1. ENGINE: The following components of gasoline or diesel engines: pistons pins, crankshaft and main bearings, connecting rods and rod bearings, camshaft and camshaft bearings,
Intake and exhaust valves, valve springs, oil pump, push rods, rocker arms, hydraulic lifters and rocker arm shafts. The engine block and cylinder heads are covered only if damaged by a covered component.
2. SEALS & GASKETS: Seals and gaskets are replaced only if part of repair or replacement of covered components. Leaking gaskets or seals are not covered.
MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Change oil per Manufacturer Requirements, whichever comes first after the initial oil change and product installation. This must be done by a commercial facility.
2. Purchaser may not have their required maintenance performed by a service facility that is owned or operated by the purchaser. Purchasers cannot perform their own maintenance for product warranty requirements.
3. Acceptable records documenting purchaser's adherence to the vehicle manufacturer's required maintenance are required in the event of a claim.
4. Acceptable records must be: issued on the date of maintenance, issued in the name of purchaser, be signed by purchaser, be electronically generated, issued by the commercial lubrication service facility performing the maintenance,
Include mileage, date, vehicle identification number, year, make, and model, and include a record of payment and service performed. Any handwritten information on records, receipts or repair orders, pertaining to or documenting required maintenance are not acceptable.
Terms and Conditions
The engine warranty covers block, heads, and all internals. Bolt-on accessories, wiring and sensors are not warranted.
2. Engine warranties are limited to manufacturing defects in the block, heads, pistons, crankshafts, camshafts, rockers,
And oil pumps. We do not warranty any attached accessory parts, such as switches, sensors, cables, electronics, belts,
Hoses, water pumps, manifolds, wire harnesses, valve covers, brackets, flywheel etc. Diesel Engines: We do not cover injectors,
High pressure oil pumps, high pressure fuel injectors or any other part which is not part of the core engine as defined above.
3. In the event of a warranty claim, an Engine Diagnostic Report is required from an ASE Certified Automotive facility.
An Engine Diagnostic Report can be sent to you or your ASE Certified Automotive facility in the event that a diagnostic report is not available.
4. We are not responsible for improper installation and or labour charges.
5. All returned parts or cancelled orders are subject to a 25% handling and processing fees plus customer assumes all shipping costs.
6. All mis-ordered or mis-diagnosed parts will be assessed a 25% processing charge and freight both ways, regardless of the reason.
7. Orders usually ship within 7-10 business days.
8.All residential deliveries incur a $150 shipping charge, unless agreed to otherwise.
9.The part must be installed AND warranty activated within 10 Business Days of delivery or the Free Warranty shall default.
10.The stated mileage is not guaranteed and is correct to the best of our knowledge.
11.We do not warranty oil leaks/damage on engines or transmissions due to non-replaced seals, gaskets or filters.
12.All deposits are non-refundable.
13.Any engine and transmission returned not in the same assembled condition as it was received will not be refunded under any circumstances.
If the engine or transmission is disassembled in any way without our express written authorization it will void the warranty.
14.Engines and transmissions are tested, visually inspected and cleaned.
15.Pickups of Returns, Defective Items, and/or Cores must originate from the shipping address of the original order. No exceptions will be considered.
Otherwise, refunds, returns and/or replacements will not be authorized.
16.Once you have initiated a warranty claim, you are required to submit ALL the details requested through the Customer Warranty Portal within 5 Business Days or the warranty will be void.
17. In case the customer wants to send back the part for exchange or returns shipping cost must be taken care of the customer.
18. Warranty of all parts sold will be 2 years or 30,000 miles from the date of installation.
TERMS:1)All requests for returns must be have the original order invoice #, and whether or not you have the original packaging, photos and the reason for the return should be included .
You will receive a response within 3-5 full business days.
2)Items must be in the same condition in which they were purchased and must not have been tampered with, or disassembled in any way.
3)Once your return is approved, you will be provided an RA# (Return Authorization Number).
4)That return number MUST be on the returned merchandise. This is the only way we can track the return process and make sure a refund is made to the correct order.
5)Any expense of returning parts is the purchaser’s responsibility. Shipping and Handling Fees will not be refunded.
6) All items will be inspected upon return to ensure every return is in the condition in which it was approved for the return.
7)Parcel Damage:
We ask that all items be inspected for damage, and that damage be reported to the returns team within 7 business days.
Any clearly damaged packages be refused upon delivery if possible. Please take photos of the package damage as this will help speed up the return process.
8) We ask that you fully inspect each item for damage (both internal & external). We ask that you check the box and the unit before signing for the delivery.

10) Please note that accessory parts on engines or other parts are not warrantied, this means refusal of these items due to damage may incur a re-stock fee.
11) Defective – If a part is defective it must be confirmed by our warranty department prior to refund being issued or replacement being sent out.
(Customer MUST stop driving the vehicle to prevent further damage to the part)
12) Buyer will be responsible for shipping fees incurred both ways (to and from) the delivery point. Some instances of buyer’s remorse may result in a re-stocking fee of up to 25%.
Credits will not be provided if the part is:
Returned to our facility damaged.
If items have been installed (partial or full).
If the item is not what we shipped out.
If any items have been removed off the item; not in the same condition that shipped the item.
13)A 25% re-stocking fee may apply to any item received back to Store that appears to have been open and have parts missing from what was shipped.
All items are checked before they leave the warehouse.
14)Any items that are not received in the condition we shipped them may be charged a re-stock fee or refused and returned at the buyer’s expense.
15) The parts covered by the warranty are the engine blocks, cylinder heads and valves, cam shafts, connecting rods, bearings, pistons, rings, oil pump, crank shaft, bearings, rocker arms,
Lifters and other internal parts.
16) Excluded from this warranty are all fuel injection parts, water pump, all electrical parts, hoses, lines, intake and exhaust manifolds and gaskets.
17) Process to file a Warranty Claim
Contact salesperson and inform of issue with purchased part or parts.
Salesman reviews warranty claim
We may request photos of the part or parts in question, and vin of the vehicle
We may replace part with a functionally equivalent part
We may ask you to return part for repairs.
We may refund you the cost of your part, including your shipping cost
We reserve the right to inspect any item prior to refund or replacement
18)All Warranties are Null and Void if:
The part purchased is installed in an application for which the vehicle manufacturer did not intend it.
Defect or failure is caused by a towing trailer or any other vehicle unless your vehicle is equipped for this purpose as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
Failure resulted by abuse, misuse, or improper modification.
The part fails or becomes defective resulting from the vehicle being involved in a collision.
The vehicle is not serviced at proper intervals, or appropriate fuel or coolant is not supplied in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications.
Failure or defect caused by theft, fire, collision, explosion, earthquake, lightning, windstorm, hail, water, freezing or flood.
Heat tab centers are melted or removed.
19) Warranty coverage begins as of the date of purchase as indicated on the original invoice.
20) Proof of regularly scheduled maintenance is required.
21)Timing belts, water pump, thermostat, spark plugs, fluids and seals are routine maintenance items and should be replaced at the time of installation and
at the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended service intervals.
22)Proper verification of operating conditions for cooling and electrical systems must be checked at time of installation of parts or products that can be affected by these systems.
23)Engine warranties are limited to defects in the block, rod knock, block cracks, and excessive smoking. We do not guarantee against oil leaks.
24)Engine accessories installed or attached to the motor for convenience or preference are not covered by our warranty. Engines will not be covered if centre heat tab is melted or removed
25) Claims related to overheating resulting from improper maintenance and or lubrication of the cooling system and or engine, are not covered by warranty.
